Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Frequented California Beach
An aircraft soaring near a popular southern California coastline abruptly started spinning out of control, finally descending rapidly and smashing into a row of palm fronds as onlookers looked on.
Recordings posted on the internet depict the chopper commencing to spiral near the beach then plunging in the direction of the border of the beach, where it ends up lodged amidst palms and a steps close to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Information
Local firefighters stated five individuals were transported to a medical facility including two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the crash on the weekend.
Three persons on the road were harmed. Specifics on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
